Fantastic Football Players

The Kent County High School Football team has always tried hard to reach their maximum capacity of effort given into the sport. When it comes to being the best that they can be, they always present what the crowd wants to see. They are always willing to try new things and push themselves to their full potential at every game.

The KCHS Football team are very good at giving a respectable and at often times graceful, perspective on football. They contain many genuine habits that it takes to accomplish any type of sport. That habit would be mindset. According to KCHS football player Kevin Mallory, “We all work as hard as we can to become better by working on and off of the field”.

They are always willing to show their best side whenever they play a strong opponent. Even though sometimes they go into the game with the mindset of failure when they play against certain teams who are more susceptible to winning against them, they always keep their head up and presume confidence in what they do.

As a team, entering a game that they know has a rather, less skilled opponent than their team, gives them the perfect opportunity to build their endurance and stamina. By practicing good, strong efforts towards the lesser skilled opponents, this helps to create one mindset towards any type of opposing team. Which the KCHS Football team is always flawless at completing.

Playing with less effort towards teams they know they don’t have to give their all in to win, doesn’t help them to get any better. This sets them up for failure. So in order to meet their full potential, Mallory again states that “Everyone gives it their all during practices and the games”.

One of the worse things in any type of sport is going into a game and not showing their best, just because they know it’s not necessary in winning. This will not serve a purpose when they go against a stronger team. It will cause them to not be able to create that image in their head of always wanting to go out and show their best no matter how weak or strong the other team is.

In order to establish the full potential of an organized and fully committed team, the KCHS Football team always devotes themselves to the sport 110%. There may be days when it seems that the team is a bit lackadaisical, but in all actuality since KCHS is of smaller population, Mallory also mentions that “We don't get lazy, we just don’t have as many players as other Football teams have so we get tired”. All together, KCHS contains a well rounded, strong and confident group of boys as their astounding Football team.
