The meaning of art is explored in a branch of philosophy known as aesthetics. Our art program at Kent County High School does marvelous things for the community and for people who need it. The Art program is a great way for you to help people and to become more of a voice in the environment

The art society has done a few projects around Kent County and even around the world. They just recently made Christmas Trees out of Crab baskets and had them placed in Rock Hall. The Crab Basket has been an every year project, they are a real sight to see.
They also have done a memory project from children around the world but this year they're from Nigeria these kids are from refugee camps and orphanages and don't have worldly possessions like we do . The kids that send pictures in send videos back of them opening it and it's a real heart warming video.
The Winter sections will be coming out tuned so stayed tuned for that. Memory portraits will be coming out and the Soup Dinner will be happening where everyone leaves with a piece of pottery to be reminded of everyone who went hungry.. Last year a total of 1300 dollars to the local food pantry.
The club is still allowing people to join if you are wanting to be apart of these cool and If you have any interest in joining the club you have to take an advanced drawing class and a 3.25 cumulative GPA.
