On Oct. 17, Ovidio Guzmán López was released by Mexican authorities because of the town being sieged in Mexico City. Which ended up killing 13 police and including 14 civilians and one law enforcement on Tuesday.
A masked gunmen threw burning barricades and traded gunfire with security forces when Mexican police had arrested one of the sons of the Mexican drug lord. This is usual for Mexico because Mexico has had its own taste with all types of crime. They have had the highest rates of rape, violence against women, and domestic violence in the capital.
Ovidio Guzmán López is the son of Joaquín Guzmán or better known as El Chapo. Chapo is a Mexican drug lord who is the most powerful drug trafficker in the world. Chapo has been in and out of different types of jails. Chapo has been found guilty and is now in ADX Florence where he is serving a life sentence.
The patrols first attack was on a house northwest of Mexico City. They then entered the house and seen Ovidio Guzmán López who has been accused of trafficking drugs in the United States. The patrol was overcome when the man started shooting at the patrol. The patrol ended up arresting him and that was when the outbreak began.
The first attack on the City was when a highway road was road blocked by a barricade of burning upside down trucks. The other side of the highway by the soldiers and they were having a shootout.

Mexico ended up freeing Ovidio Guzmán López because they believe it was what was best for the safety of the citizens. The city of Mexico was getting out of hand the cartel was set up all around the city blocking streets with burning vehicles or riding about on pickup trucks with mounted .50 calibre machine guns.
Ovidio Guzmán López is now back in the cartel after being let out. This was the safest decision for the community of Mexico. People are now coming together and picking up the pieces of what was lost in the attacks of Ovidio Guzmán López being imprisoned. This is sad that innocent lives were lost. You can never fully recover from these things.
