In June, Hong Kong's streets were filled with protesters who were contempt for the Chinese government, and hope to protect their freedoms for as long as possible. The violence in Hong Kong is leading to many deaths and injuries of people of all ages. So far 80 people have been arrested, 74 protesters and 25 police officers were injured, including two who had passed..
Hong Kong an international finance axis on China’s southern coast, until 1997, it went back to China under a policy known as “one country, two systems.”
The “one country, two systems” put Hong Kong apart of China and denied liberties to citizens on the mainland, including free speech. The Hong Kong community was refused the right to express their opinions.
The march had brought hundreds of thousands of people who all joined and came together for a peaceful protest to oppose the bill on June 9.
On June 12, the discussion and demands changed when police used batons, pepper spray and more than 150 canisters of tear gas. The police adding force then thinned out thousands of protesters. The protesters then decided to fire back and add more gas to the fire when they launched missile designs to fire from a rocket and or gun.

A 70 year old cleaner was struck with a rock by protesters and Beijing residents who later died on Thursday. His death was not much later then when a 21 year old student protester who fell from a building.

Many people are being injured and many are dying and we need to put a stop to this. Gaining your rights back are important but safety should come first before everything. Instead of having riots they should have a more safer and peaceful approach to get their rights back.
