Spooky season? Sweater weather? How do the students and staff members of Kent County High School feel about the upcoming fall weather of October 2019…?

KCHS teachers seem to be very fond of the upcoming cold weather in the fall season.

According to English teacher Ms. Walters, “I love fall, it's my favorite season, sweater weather is fantastic, to explain my wardrobe it’s chunky and soft , with layers forever,” she said. “My favorite holiday has to be Halloween for sure it tops Christmas by far, my favorite part about fall has to be pumpkin spice everything.”

To tag along with the love of the fall season, one of the well known math teachers, Mr. Jenkins, said, “Fall is my favorite season of the year. I like football and baseball playoffs, every year I go to Garrett county to fall festival with my wife. Definitely a big plus one for sweater weather, hoodies.” Mr. Jenkins also commented, “The so called spooky season is the dumbest thing this generation has come up, but I enjoy the cold weather and hunting season “yee yee".”

To sum up the rest of the teachers opinions on fall, the Psychology teacher Ms.Saunders mentions, “Fall weather is fantastic cool nights, cool mornings, and warm sunny days, a layer possibly a sweater as a top layer”. She includes, “My favorite part of October and the fall season is teaching people how to row, teaching my crew team, and also definitely halloween night watching horror movies. There is no horror movie that I do not know.” Ms.Saunders has a very passionate love for Halloween and fall time.

KCHS students talk about their love for the fall season. Senior Lexi Langenfelder said, “The fall is by far my favorite season her version, “football weather”. Jeans and sweatshirts are my favorite, I love hoodies but i'm not really a sweater person.” Lexi made a comment of, “I like the month of October because it gives a good start to the fall, the corn is being picked, carving pumpkins, also a perfect opening to thanksgiving and Christmas.”

Junior Nicole Newsome finishes up the fall interviews and says fall is fun. She says, “First of all its fall. But doesn't even feel like fall its irritating, because fall clothes are way cuter than summer clothes, duh sweater weather.” She adds, “Legging and pumpkin seeds are my favorite, I'm really looking forward to the colder weather.”

Staff and students are all looking forward to the fall season!
