Juice World, also known as Jarad Anthony Higgins was pronounced dead December 8, 2019 after suffering a medical emergency while arriving in his hometown, Chicago. Juice World was a singer/ rapper that first blew up through the song “Lucid Dreams” and also through the app called Soundcloud. His song “Lucid Dreams” peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Juice World was one of the most successful young artists to pop out and his death was so unexpected and heart breaking. According to NY Times, Juice World was being suspected of having drugs and firearms on the plane, and when he landed at 1 am Chicago police officers were set to search the private plane that Juice was on. Police say that Juice and everyone else that was on the plane was very cooperative. During the time period of the police searching the plane, there were approximately 70 pounds of marijuana, six bottles of liquid prescription codeine cough syrup, and three firearms. Juice started having convulsions soon during the search, and federal agents immediately arrived at the scene. They administered Narcan, a drug used to revive people. But Juice was overdosing on opioid, he was soon rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead around 3 o’ clock in the morning.
Juice World’s death has shocked the world, sent many young teens into shock. His death was so unexpected, that it made it hurt worse. Numerous celebrities and long friends of Jarad’s have expressed their grief about the situation on social media. Starting with Ellie Goulding, Trippie Redd, Lil Nas, G herbo, Nicki Minaj and many more. Most of them stating how good of a soul and person Jarad was, also numerous of them stating the fact that younger people are dying more often everyday now. Mostly to drugs, Juice World heavily discussed in his music about drugs and the way the drugs made him feel, he also expressed having very high levels of depression or even wanting to be dead. Lots of teens listened to his music because they felt as if they weren't alone, as if someone else understood and that was World’s whole purpose. He wanted to leave this Earth with a mark and he did, he will never be forgotten. He could rap and sing and his melody made his music 10x better. Juice World was 21 with a long journey still ahead of him and this one's gonna take a little bit longer to get over.
Juice World was a very good artist, with a good soul that we've lost to drugs. It's unfortunate, he had a way of changing the world with his music. Juice Worlds fans all over the world are very hurt by this and we all see why. Another fallen angel, another great artist taken from the media due to the drugs. He made young teens feel something again and no one will ever forget that. R. I. P Juice World, he will be missed and his loyal fans will rock his music forever.
